The amusing:

1. NBC is bringing back the American Gladiators. Sweet. Dude, there is SO much ass grabbing on that original series XD Yay!

2. Mythbusters looked at the expression "Bull in a China Shop." They set up a mock china store..and only one shelf got knocked over. Given how flimsy the shelves were (they were made out of foam so as to not hurt the animals) an accidental brush-up would have been enough to do that. For the most part the bulls just walked right around them! it was great.

The awesome.

I CAN HAS A NEW JOB PEOPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I interviewed back on the 13th, and hadn't heard back so I didn't think about it. So yesterday I got a call asking me to give the HR lady a call so she could tell me more about the position. I did, thinking that it was going to be for another interview or something...and instead, they made the offer :-O

The pay is a bit less then I'd have liked, but on the other hand, I'll have full benefits as of 10/1 and their best insurance plan (no deductible, $15 copay) is something like 60% of what I'm paying now for my $1500 deductible plan (sweet!). They have vision ,dental, 401k, etc. Given that I still have my plan to go to grad school next fall, I think this will fill the gap just fine. Plus, it's by my house, the dress is business casual M-R, casual F (on which day they can leave 2 hours early and get paid if work is done) so yeah. Not bad at all :D

I gotta tell boss tomorrow!
